Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a fighting game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable. It is the sixth installment in the Dissidia series, and the first game in the series to be released in North America. The game was announced at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo, and was released in Japan on March 17, 2010, and in North America on March 29, 2010. Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a crossover between characters and worlds from the Final Fantasy video game series. The game features over 100 characters from the series, as well as new characters and summons. The game is played in two modes: Arcade and Story. In Arcade mode, the player fights against opponents in a series of matches, while in Story mode, the player progresses through a series of battles to defeat the game's main antagonist, Chaos.
